I am a radio commentator, essayist and fantasy writer with pieces in places such as Minnesota Public Radio, Strange Horizons, and Best American Erotica.

I write dark fantasy, horror, and commentaries on disability issues, community, and politics.

I grew up in the Chicago and New York areas, and now live in beautiful Powderhorn Park, Minneapolis with my family.

I'm a Communications Director for a religious-based nonprofit and an obsessive year-round bicycle commuter. I'm a folk and Bollywood dancer, a bodhrán player, and a member of two writing groups. I feel very lucky to be an SF/F writer in the Twin Cities.

I talk too much.
